All widgets have been tested on both Windows XP and OSX.
This widget will work with message boards that have one of these layouts:
|Topic||Replies||Views||Last Comment||Started By|
|Topic||Replies|| ||Last Comment||Started By|
|Topic||Replies||Views||Started By||Last Post|
If you come across a different ezBoard layout, let me know and I will modify this widget accordingly.
When entering the message board URL, you must enter the URL of the message board itself, not the forum index page. For example, http://p207.ezboard.com/btherefuge53914 is not a valid URL, but http://p207.ezboard.com/ftherefuge53914frm1 or http://p207.ezboard.com/ftherefuge53914frm5 are valid.
Clicking on a topic title will take you to the last page of replies to that topic.
Logo position and size are configurable. The logo can be placed at any of the corners, allowing you to align the widget against any edge of the screen.
Double-click the logo to minimize or expand the message list. You may also click on the minus and plus images to minimize or expand the message list.
Double-click the title to go to the url of the message board. You may also visit the message board via the context menu.
Hovering over the logo will display the "Last Updated" time in a tooltip
Prior to version 4.0 of Yahoo! Widgets, you could monitor multiple message boards by making copies of the widget, each with a distinct file name (e.g. ezboardRecentTopics1.widget, ezboardRecentTopics2.widget, etc). These copies would each have their own set of Preferences, including their own message board URL. While this can still be done on a Mac, you can no longer do this on Windows
because of a bug in Yahoo! Widgets. If you need to be able to do this on Windows, contact me
and I will see what I can do.
